5. Data Retention
Contact form enquiries where no retainer follows are retained for twelve months and then deleted. Client files where a retainer has been entered are retained for seven years from the conclusion of the matter, in accordance with professional obligations, and then securely destroyed. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of twenty-six months.
6. Data Security
- All data transmitted through this website is encrypted using TLS
- Access to client files is restricted to authorised fee-earners and support staff
- Physical files are stored in locked cabinets; digital files are protected by access controls
- In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) within the timeframes required by law
